Our Experience Team

To ensure everyone at RG can live and breathe our values, we’ve got a dedicated team across the globe who work to preserve our culture and ensure your experience at RG is a great one. Together, these passionate individuals make up our Experience Team and their mission is to make RG a great place to work. Well, we like to think RG already is a great place to work, and this team helps to make it even better!

As visible, approachable representatives in our offices, the Experience Team tries to gauge how people are feeling every day and share advice and suggestions to continually evolve and nurture RG Culture.
Protecting our culture means constantly dreaming up new ways to live our values – you’ll see our culture come to life through global and local events like office volunteer days, inspirational workshops, potluck lunches and even hosting the occasional virtual or in-office yoga class.

Open and honest communication

Open and honest communication is not an RG value, but we see it as something much bigger. It establishes trust across the business. RG people can expect leadership to be transparent with the ‘what, how and why’ of decision making, and leadership trusts colleagues to give them open and honest feedback. Working at Reward Gateway, you can expect to hear from our CEO every Monday in his blog where he shares how we’re progressing on our mission to make the world a better place to work.

No matter where you are in the world, we use our own technology to ensure there are no barriers to communication or the leaders you work for. Even our office design supports our philosophy of being open and honest. You won’t find looming corridors to the closed off offices of senior managers, nor need to fear secret meetings happening in hidden board rooms. We’re as open and honest with our people as quickly as we can be, and we don’t purposely hide anything.

A flexible, hybrid working culture

In 2016, we introduced RG Work Modes – our activity-based model of where to work for the task you have at hand. With over 75 different activities powering our Mission, we found eight common themes that enable these activities to succeed and called these our Work Modes. These modes were created through workshops where we researched, listened and spent a lot of time learning about our employees’ existing work behaviours and habits.

This was followed by the four-year development and enhancement of our office spaces which would support these work modes and enable our employees to thrive. This process gave us a deeper, more rounded understanding of how to truly make Reward Gateway a better place to work by expanding our workspace to a hybrid of home, office and wherever you find yourself best able to do the work you need to focus on at any time.
